The natural diatomites from LB Minerals are used in the most diverse areas of the food and beverage industry. Our filter diatomite is most widely used thanks to its properties – low bulk density, large sorption surface, fineness, health safety and permeability – in the food industry for the filtration of beer, wine and fruit juices, but also in dairies.
Due to the high level of porosity, diatomite is able to be permeable for liquids, but reliably retains suspended solids. In order to optimally respond to the wishes of our customers, we at LB Minerals can combine different types of diatomite and thus fine-tune the individually required filtration performance.
